Mr. Chadwick focuses his mediation practice on the resolution of labor and employment related matters, including breach of contract, wrongful termination, discrimination claims, non-subscribers, Family Medical Leave, Americans With Disabilities, non-compete agreements, trade secrets, proprietary information, and other workplace disputes. He also will mediate cases involving ERISA fiduciary and employee benefits, and executive compensation.

 

He possesses more than 32 years of experience representing management and fiduciaries in the areas of labor & employment, OSHA/occupational safety & health, ERISA/employee benefits and executive compensation. His skill set includes drafting policies and agreements, counseling as to compliance and risk management, and providing legal representation in negotiations, claim resolution, government audits and investigations, arbitrations, and federal, state and administrative litigation and appeals.  

Mr. Chadwick's writings, quotations and accomplishments have been featured on television and in international publications, such as the Wall Street Journal and the World Intellectual Property Organization's SME Newsletter, national publications, such as the National Law Journal, Insurance Journal, National Underwriter Magazine,Journal of American Law and PLUS Journal, and local publications, such asHeadnotes, published by the Dallas Bar Association.

   

He is currently working as a contributor for the 2017 Cumulative Supplement to The Fair Labor Standards Act, Third Edition, a treatise authored by the American Bar Association (ABA) and published by BNA Bloomberg. Previously, he was a Chapter Monitor for the 2010 Supplement to Employment Discrimination Law, Fourth Edition, an acclaimed treatise also authored by the ABA and published by BNA Bloomberg. From 2013-2015, he was a member of the Professional Liabilty Editorial Board of theJournal of American Law, published by the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.

Mr. Chadwick is actively involved in the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), which is recognized internationally as the primary source of educational programs, networking events, educational products, and information regarding professional liability. From 2008 - 2009, he was the Texas Chapter Chair. From 2012-2015, he was Co-Chair of the international Chapter Development Committee. 

He is a Fellow of The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, which is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars elected by their peers. Membership in The Fellows is limited to less than 1% of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction.
